A resident of the English county of Kent did not recognize herself in a family photo and lost 38 kilograms. Her story was published by the Daily Mail.
Lenna Wells, a 27-year-old mother of two, claims to have weighed 103 kilograms before. The woman recovered a lot during her first pregnancy five years ago: she became addicted to unhealthy foods and often overeats. “There was always a mountain of food on my plate,” she recalls.
In December 2018, Wells reviewed family wedding photos and did not admit she was overweight. “I felt very insecure that day; I left the party before everyone else, although it doesn’t sound like me,” she admits. “I didn’t want to be looked at.” She hid from cameras and refused to be photographed, but still got into one general frame.
“I barely recognized myself. It was as if I was looking at a stranger, – says the British. – I felt so devastated and broken. Then I realized that I was ready for a change!”
Wells joined the weight loss program last January. There she developed a nutrition plan, thanks to which she lost 32 kilograms. Then she started to work out regularly in the gym and continued to lose weight. “I used to eat to please myself, and then regretted it. I never thought that I could change,” she notes. “I want to show people that it is possible, and they can lose weight too.”
Earlier it was reported about an American who weighed 317 kilograms, who lost 165 kilograms for year and three months, adhering to their method. He developed diet versions of his favorite foods and completely eliminated carbonated drinks from the diet.
