Student dyed her hair and woke up with a head in shape of a soccer ball

A resident of Bulgaria dyed her hair and woke up the next day with her head swollen from allergies, according to Mirror.

20-year-old student Valentina Nikolova from Sofia wanted to become a brunette and went to a beauty salon. During the day after the procedure, she was tormented by severe itching, but the hairdresser reassured her that such a reaction is the norm.

Waking up the next morning, the girl found that she could barely open her eyes, as her head had acquired the size and shape of a soccer ball. “Imagine that you are burnt in the sun, and your every movement brings unbearable pain. I felt many times worse,” Nikolov described the sensations.

On the same day, the girl went to the clinic, where she was given an injection and prescribed antihistamines. As a result, on the fourth day, the tumor began to subside, but the process of tissue regeneration was accompanied by flaking of the scalp.

Having finally recovered, Nikolova shared her story with reporters and urged readers to take an application skin test for allergies before dyeing their hair. “If something like this happens to you, do not panic: it is temporary, in the end everything will be fine,” she concluded.

In October, a resident of Great Britain told how, after home staining, her head is completely covered with painful blisters. Despite the fact that the test did not reveal any allergies in the girl, some time after applying the dye, some of the roots of her hair were burned.
