Mourning swan stopped dozens of trains for almost an hour

In Germany, dozens of trains were detained for almost an hour, because of a swan “mourning” on the railway tracks due to the death of his companion reports RIA Novosti citing the message of the local police.

The incident took place on December 23 on the high-speed railway between Kassel and Göttingen, where two swans wandered. One of the birds died, presumably from an electric shock from the contact network. The second swan did not want to leave and remained at the site of the satellite’s death. All attempts to lure the bird out of the paths were unsuccessful.

The firemen managed to lift the swan from the tracks with the help of special equipment. Due to the rescue operation, 23 trains were delayed for almost 50 minutes. The bird was later released on the Fulda River.

Earlier, an employee of a garbage sorting enterprise in the Russian city of Ulyanovsk, while working, found a cat in a bag and saved his life. The man took out a bag with an animal from a pile of garbage just before falling into the separator. Then the garbage man cut open the bag, which contained a black and white cat. According to the Telegram channel Baza, the pet was most likely a pet, as it looked well-groomed.
