The most probable reason for the sinking of the fishing vessel “Onega” in the Barents Sea is heel while pulling the fishing trawl. This was reported by RIA Novosti citing the Ministry of Emergencies.
As a result of the roll, the ship scooped up water and sank to the bottom, the rescuers explained.
