A conscript from the Volgograd region Alexander Voropaev died during the execution of the first in the life of a skydive. This information V1.RU was confirmed by the relatives of the deceased.
Voropaev was drafted into the army at the end of November. He was trained at the 242nd training center for training specialists of the Airborne Forces in Omsk. The emergency happened on December 25 due to a parachute that did not open. IA “Height 102” specifies that, according to preliminary data , the stabilizing parachute was wound around the man’s hand.
The soldier’s sister Vera Voropaeva told the publication that they had been notified of Alexander’s death, but they hadn’t really reported anything. “So far nothing is known, an investigation is underway,” she said.
