Russian doctor reveals differences in symptoms of coronavirus and hangover

It is almost impossible to independently distinguish intestinal symptoms of coronavirus from symptoms of a hangover. In case of such a condition, it is recommended to consult a doctor. Therapist of the highest category Lyudmila Lapa spoke about this in an interview with the Moskva 24 TV channel.

“If there is an intestinal attack of a virus, this is all an attack on the immune system. Therefore, it is necessary to treat any problem related to the intestines, be it coronavirus, another intestinal infection or poisoning, from the first day,” she stressed. According to the expert, you should not go to the doctors because of nausea after overeating. You should go to a specialist if the symptoms of poisoning persist within two days.

Lapa revealed that patients mostly go to doctors when the coronavirus has already started: “not yet pneumonia, but already bronchitis.” This makes it difficult to determine which symptoms dominate in the early stages of the disease, she said.

Previously, US scientists listed early signs of COVID-19, preceding respiratory. Loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea may signal the disease. However, doctors noted that these are not the most common symptoms and they can last only one day.
