Crocodiles killed a pregnant woman and a schoolboy

In the city of Mkhangura (Zimbabwe), crocodiles killed two people. It is reported by the local Herald.

The first attack occurred on Saturday, December 26th. The victim of the predator was a 14-year-old schoolchild who passed exams after finishing the seventh grade.

Then the crocodile grabbed a pregnant woman who was fishing. The reptile dragged her under the water when she put the bait on and bent down to the river to wash her hands. The body was found several hours later with deep wounds on the arm and back.

In Zimbabwe, Nile crocodiles … They grow up to five meters in length, are extremely aggressive and can handle even such large and strong animals as the black rhino, hippo, giraffe, African buffalo and lion.

In 2019 it was reported that a resident of the Zimbabwean village of Silobela, Midlands , died in the mouth of a man-eating crocodile when he tried to help a friend retrieve a fishing rod entangled in the reeds. The man lost his balance and fell into the water, where he was immediately attacked by a reptile.
