The decision on the work of Moscow schools after the New Year holidays will be made taking into account the epidemiological situation in the city, but “the attitude is such that schools open.” This was told by the head of the Ministry of Education Sergey Kravtsov , his words are quoted by FAN.
“The opening of schools in Moscow after the New Year holidays largely depends on us, to what extent the measures will be observed during the New Year holidays. (…) But for now, the mood is such that schools open. But (…) everything will depend, of course , from the epidemiological situation, “the minister said.
In addition, he said that the Ministry of Education has sent to the regions further recommendations on the work of schools in the coronavirus pandemic. Kravtsov stressed that it is important for the department to maintain the quality of education, despite the format in which the classes will be organized.
Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Committee State Duma on Education and Science Gennady Onishchenko warned that the transfer to distance learning is only suitable for certain classes and regions, but you cannot send all schools at once. He also said that the decision to close schools and other educational institutions should be made depending on the epidemiological situation in the educational institution.
