Ukrainian security forces detained a former deputy of one of the village councils of the Kiev region, who tried to order the murder of his political opponents. Information about this appeared on site a> the National Police of Ukraine.
According to security officials, the 34-year-old man decided to organize the elimination of two opponents against the background of personal hostility. He was looking for a killer in the network, to whom he was ready to pay six thousand dollars. The police managed to find the former deputy and arranged a meeting of the customer of the crime with the potential “executor”.
He gave the fake killer a photo of his opponents and a deposit of $ 300. The man was detained on the spot. Later, a criminal case was opened against him on the fact of organizing an assassination attempt. Now the former deputy faces a prison sentence of 10 to 15 years.
Earlier, Ukrainian law enforcement officers detained in the city of Bakhmut a 69-year-old man who during a quarrel he inflicted 500 stab wounds to his friend. He was arrested and faces from 7 to 15 years in prison.
