Awarded laureates of “Engineer of Year 2020” competition at KBKhA

A solemn award ceremony was held for the employees of the Chemical Automation Design Bureau (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation), who became laureates of the 18th annual regional competition “Engineer of the Year 2020”, held in accordance with the decree of the Voronezh region administration. Due to anti-epidemic restrictions, this time the awards were presented not in the building of the Voronezh region administration, but directly at the enterprise.

Before the presentation, KBKA Director Sergey Kovalev said words of gratitude to the employees who distinguished themselves this year: “You have again confirmed the high engineering and technical level of our team at the regional level. I am sure that many will be able to achieve the same assessment in the all-Russian competition, where our colleagues will represent not only their own enterprise, but also the Voronezh region. I wish you good health, new creative achievements and successful continuation of your work on your current professional projects.

This year, 13 employees of the enterprise were among the awardees. The first places in the Aviation and Cosmonautics nomination were taken by Chief Specialist Sergei Zherebchikov, Category 1 Design Engineer Dmitry Soldatov and Deputy Head of Department Anna Shirokozhukhova. Second places in the nominations “Equipment for military and special purposes”, “Mechanical engineering and metalworking”, “Electricity and heat power engineering”, “Organization of production, labor and management”, “Oil and gas industry” were taken by the head of the sector Ivan Akinshin, the head of the direction Alexey Arbuzov , leading specialist Viktor Vysotsky, leading designer Andrey Leshov, deputy head of the department Alexander Meshcheryakov, leading design engineer Andrey Kazachkov. Leading Process Engineer Vera Aslamova, Category 3 Design Engineer Igor Lomakin, Category 2 Design Engineer Oleg Savenko, Leading Design Engineer Yulia Tokareva were awarded third places in the Metallurgy and Aviation and Cosmonautics nominations.

The purpose of the competition is to promote the achievements and experience of the best engineers in the field, to increase the prestige of engineering specialties and the professionalism of engineering workers. This year, 35 enterprises and organizations, represented by 77 specialists, took part in the regional competition “Engineer of the Year 2020”. The winners of the regional competition, who took 1st and 2nd places, were nominated by the Voronezh Region on the recommendation of the competition committee for participation in the 21st All-Russian competition “Engineer of the Year 2020”, which will end in Moscow at the end of this year.
