Earlier, Popova said that the situation with the coronavirus is stabilizing in Russia, and the increase in incidence is slowing down.
She also clarified that the spread of infection is less than one in 77 regions of the country.
As of December 29, 27,002 people were infected with coronavirus in Russia per day. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,105,037 cases of COVID-19 have been identified. There are infected people in all regions of the country, including among new cases.
