In Great Britain, a Shih Tzu dog that disappeared eight years ago has returned to its owners. Its owner, 35-year-old Magdalena Klubchuk, thought the animal was hit by a car, reports the Daily Post.
A pet named Roxy got lost in 2013 when her owner was at work. For several weeks, Klubchuk was looking for a favorite, but the search did not turn into luck. In the end, she gave up, believing Roxy to be dead or stolen.
On New Year’s Eve, the dog was spotted on one of the streets of Buckley. She was taken to the local animal rescue service and scanned for a microchip with the owner’s data. This is how the service specialists contacted Miss Klubchuk.
She temporarily left her with a friend, but soon plans to take her home and introduce her to her new dog, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Roxy was diagnosed with a breast tumor and will soon be examined.
Earlier it was reported that in South Africa the dog was also found eight years after lost. Its owners suggested that the pet was stolen to participate in battles.
