Scotland will soon return to the European Union (EU). The First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon wrote about this in her Twitter -account.
“Scotland will be back soon, Europe. Do not turn off the lights,” she said. She also attached images of the EU and Scotland flags to the text.
Earlier, the UK and the European Union reached an agreement on the terms of Brexit, thanks to which London and Brussels will be able to finalize the “divorce”, including in the economic part. The parties managed to agree on all the main aspects of relations after December 31, when the transition period expires. One of the main documents in the framework of the general agreement was the trade agreement, which provides for the mutual absence of duties and quotas.
