The President of Russia Vladimir Putin fired Viktor Grinya from the post of Deputy Prosecutor General. The corresponding decree was published on Thursday, December 31, on the official Internet legal information portal .
It follows from the document that Grin will be dismissed from office on January 1, 2021.
As noted by TASS , on January 1, Green will be 70 years old – this is the age limit for a position that he borrowed.
Viktor Grin has worked in the bodies of prosecutors since 1976. In the 1990s, he held the positions of the Omsk prosecutor, and then the deputy and first deputy prosecutor of the Omsk region. In the 2000s, Grin worked in the Chita region (now part of the Trans-Baikal Territory) and the Krasnoyarsk Territory. He took up the post of Deputy Prosecutor General of Russia in 2006.
