The price of Brent oil has risen above $ 54 per barrel, reports TASS citing the auction data.
At the time of this writing, the price of North Sea Brent crude oil rose by 0.92 percent and reached $ 54.02 per barrel. At the same time, WTI crude oil rose in price by 0.5 percent: its price amounted to $ 50.26 per barrel.
It is noted that the price of Brent exceeded the $ 54 mark for the first time since February 26, 2020.
Earlier it was reported that Russia will increase oil production in February and March for Saudi Arabia account. This agreement was reached by the OPEC + countries. It is noted that Saudi production will decrease by 75 thousand barrels per day. This share will go to Russia and Kazakhstan in the proportion of 65 thousand and ten thousand barrels per day, respectively.
