The President of Russia Vladimir Putin and the German Chancellor Angela Merkel during a telephone conversation congratulated each other on the Christmas and New Year holidays, and also discussed the possibilities of a joint struggle against pandemic COVID-19. “The issues of cooperation in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic were discussed, with an emphasis on possible prospects for the joint production of vaccines,” the message says.
