The earthquake on the border between Russia and Mongolia was felt in Irkutsk. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Irkutsk region, RIA Novosti reports.
As told in the department, tremors in the city were felt at 05:32 local time (00:32 Moscow time). The epicenter of the earthquake was in Mongolia, 34 kilometers from the village of Tur. Its intensity reached 8.7 points, in Irkutsk – up to five points. There are no destructions and no casualties, added to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
