Tiger tore to pieces an unarmed Russian in forest

In the forest of the Vaninsky district of the Khabarovsk Territory, a man died in a tiger attack. His torn body was found without a head. The deceased did not have a weapon with him, reports AmurMedia.

The disappearance of the man became known on January 9th.

Hunting experts are working at the scene. “The incident happened outside the village, and therefore outside our competence. But since we are talking about the murder of a person, the investigation is being carried out by the investigative committee,” said Irina Schegoleva, press secretary of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Earlier in the Khabarovsk Territory, a tiger went to a roadside cafe, which is located next to the forest, drove people into the institution and got on the video. An eyewitness tried to scare the beast away by sounding a car horn, but nothing came of it. The people who were near the cafe at that moment took refuge in the institution and did not leave until the tiger went back into the forest.
