A resident of the German commune of Windeck, North Rhine-Westphalia, met a burglar in her own toilet in the middle of the night. Reported by Express.
On Tuesday, January 5, the 36-year-old owner of the house, Olesja, got out of bed at about 5:45 am local time and went to the toilet. She opened the door and found that a stranger was sitting on the toilet and relieving herself. Frightened by Olesya’s unexpected appearance, he quickly put on his pants and ran away, grabbing a backpack with stolen things: money, three laptops and a smartphone.
The woman was so dumbfounded that she did not have time to call for help her husband, who was sleeping upstairs, and allowed the thief to leave. As soon as Olesya regained consciousness, she woke up her husband, and they called the police. While the law enforcement officers were driving to the scene of the crime, the owner of the house, with their consent, pressed the flush button in the toilet.
As it turned out later, the thief got on the surveillance cameras. The police put the criminal on the wanted list: he has a North African appearance, dark skin and black curly hair, he is between 25 and 35 years old, and is about 1.7 meters tall. He was wearing Adidas sweatpants at the time of the crime.
Earlier it was reported that an American from Florida returned home at night and found a stranger in his bed. The burglar was not wearing any clothes.
