Leader in presidential elections named in Kyrgyzstan

After processing ballots from almost 98 percent of polling stations, Sadyr Japarov became a leader in the presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan. This data was named by the country’s CEC, reports TASS.

In total, the candidate for the country’s leadership won more than 79 percent of the vote. 17 candidates ran for the post of President of Kyrgyzstan.

According to preliminary data, Adakhan Madumarov took second place in the presidential race with a result of just over 6.5 percent of the vote. The third was Babyrzhan Tolbaev – less than 3 percent of the votes. The rest of the candidates did not score even 2 percent.
