Indonesian company Sriwijaya Air flight SJ182 disappeared from radar moments after taking off from Jakarta, local media reported on Saturday January 9.
” Sriwijaya Air connecting Djakarta to Pontianak “on the island of Borneo” lost contact “shortly after 2:30 p.m. local time, 8:40 a.m. in Paris, transport ministry spokesman Adita Irawati reported. /
The aircraft, a Boeing 737-500, was carrying 56 passengers and 6 crew members. In a statement, Sriwijaya Air says it needs to gather more information and will not comment immediately.
