Democrats in the House of Representatives plan on January 11 to submit new articles to the impeachment proposal to the current US President Donald Trump , reports Reuters citing their sources.
It is noted that if the procedure is successfully completed, Trump may become the first US president to be impeached twice by the House of Representatives.
On January 7, the Democratic Congressmen prepared and circulated a proposal for a resolution to impeach the current to the US leader.
Earlier, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also said that Donald Trump is needed immediately remove from power. According to her, the country’s leader committed “subversive actions” and should be removed in accordance with the 25th amendment to the US Constitution on the inability of the president to fulfill his duties.
Pelosi issued an ultimatum, noting that if the Trump cabinet does not try to eliminate him in accordance with the amendment, Congress could organize impeachment.
