President of Moldova Maia Sandu called the condition for a visit to Russia on the air of the TV8 channel. According to her, she is ready to come if she receives an invitation, reports RIA Novosti .
“I am ready to go to Russia,” Sandu replied to the relevant question. The Moldovan leader stressed that the countries on the bilateral agenda have many important topics that are worth discussing. In particular, she mentioned trade, exports and the conflict in Transnistria.
The President recalled that next month she is scheduled to visit Kiev, and after that she will leave for Brussels.
In December, Sandu announced that she plans to resume negotiations with Russia on disposal ammunition from warehouses in the unrecognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR). According to her, there is a difference in views between the Moldovan and Russian sides.
