Kadyrov reacted to words of relatives who attacked police officers in Grozny

The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov reacted to the words of the militants’ relatives who attacked police officers in Grozny. His words at a meeting of the Chechen government were reported by RIA Novosti .

“In the center of Grozny, one of our comrades was despisedly killed, another was wounded. The enemies of Allah have committed this meanness, their relatives think that irresponsible statements can be made,” Kadyrov said. He stressed that the applicants did not even express condolences to the relatives of the killed policeman.

In addition, the Chechen head turned to Ministry of Internal Affairs , Rosgvardia and republican prosecutor’s office to check the statements of the attackers’ relatives. “Those who conduct such conversations must understand that this is support for terrorism, which will have to be answered according to the law,” the Chechen leader added.

Earlier, representatives of the Timurzievs and Sultygovs’ Ingush teips stated that the Chechen authorities are illegal they detained the relatives of the killed natives of the republic – the parents and friends of the Temurziev brothers – and demanded evidence of the guilt of the attackers.

A shootout in Grozny took place on December 28 at an intersection near Mira Street. As a result, a patrol officer was killed, the second policeman was wounded and hospitalized. The law enforcement officers killed the attackers themselves with return fire. According to Kadyrov, they were brothers Khasan and Hussein, who moved to Chechnya in 2012 and worked in one of the bakeries. The head of the republic called them terrorists and said that they were trying to take possession of the weapons of the police officers.
