Chinese authorities have approved the entry into the country’s market of a coronavirus vaccine by the Chinese company Sinopharm. This was reported by RIA Novosti citing China Central Television.
The State Food and Drug Administration of China has decided to approve the domestic product for use with additional conditions. It is noted that the effectiveness of the inactivated Chinese vaccine is 79.34 percent, which meets the requirements of World Health Organization a > (WHO) and the country’s authorities.
Back in August, Liu Jingzhen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sinopharm State Corporation predicted the drug will appear on the Chinese market by the end of the year. He also talked about progress in human trials of the vaccine.
