St. Petersburg authorities relaxed restrictions on the operation of cafes and restaurants after the New Year. This was reported by TASS citing the press service of the city administration.
From January 4 to January 31, catering establishments will be able to receive guests from 6:00 to 23:00. Thus, the city authorities lifted the ban on the work of cafes and restaurants in the evening. It is noted that, according to the decree of the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov dated December 2, in the period from December 30 to January 10, businesses were allowed to serve visitors only until 19:00. At the same time, the ban on the operation of cafes and restaurants from December 30, 2020 to January 3, 2021 remains .
In addition, the city administration has allowed establishments located in shopping centers to open from January 4, subject to two conditions: if there is a separate entrance from the street and there is no access to other premises of the shopping center.
