Moscow authorities answered the most popular questions about vaccination against coronavirus which started in December. The answers to them are published on the site of the capital’s mayor.
As the city authorities said, free vaccination against COVID-19 is carried out with the drug “Sputnik V”. Vaccination is not prohibited for those who have had coronavirus, have antibodies, as well as people over 60 years old. It can be done in the absence of contraindications. It is enough to have a compulsory medical insurance policy with you and fit one of the categories of citizens for whom vaccination is currently open.
In order to get vaccinated against coronavirus, one must not get sick with ARVI at the time of vaccination and two weeks before it, and one month before the introduction of the vaccine, do not have other vaccinations. Pregnancy, breastfeeding and under 18 years of age are contraindications.
Those who received a placebo during clinical trials cannot get vaccinated yet. They will receive this opportunity upon completion of the clinical trial and publication of the results.
The list for vaccination is expanding when new doses of the drug are received, the city authorities stressed. With sufficient supplies of it, everyone will be able to get vaccinated.
