In the US state of Utah, an 11-year-old child independently caught lake trout and broke his own record, reports the Utah Department of Natural Resources in the official Twitter -account.
Tyler Grimshaw went fishing at the Burning Gorge National Recreation Area, where in June caught a 19 kg lake trout. At the end of December, December, the boy managed to break his own record: this time he caught a trout weighing about 22 kilograms.
Just like last time, Grimshaw released his catch back into the lake. “Keep it up, Tyler!” – the representatives of the department praised his efforts. A collage of two photographs of Grimshaw with his catch has been posted by Natural Resources workers.
The “Blazing Gorge” recreation area is famous for its lake trout. Every year they catch fish weighing 13 kilograms. State record for largest trout weighing 23.4 kilograms.
Previously it was reported that a fisherman from the American state of New Hampshire caught in the lake is a giant lake trout, or char-christivomera. A man pulled out a trout weighing about 17 kilograms from the water.
