Euro exchange rate rose

The euro rate rose above 92 rubles at Moscow Exchange . This is evidenced by data of the trading platform.

At 17:16 Moscow time, the euro rose to 92.06 rubles (plus 1.4 percent). The European currency has reached this level for the first time since December 22, 2020. The dollar rose to 74.8 rubles (plus 1.03 percent).

According to the results of the SuperJob service survey, the majority of Russians are ready for the fact that after the end of the New Year holidays, the dollar rate will rise to 81.77 rubles. Among the respondents, every fourth respondent monitors the dollar exchange rate, and every fifth respondent follows the euro.

Danish Investment Director Saxo Bank Steen Jacobsen expects that the dollar in 2021 will continue to weaken and fall to 65 rubles. In his opinion, the Russian currency will be strengthened by the growth of interest in raw materials in the world.
