The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that an information wave was unleashed against the country. He addressed the officers of the Minsk riot police, BelTA informs.
According to him, the world is becoming “less and less safe for the life of a normal person,” and some countries have plunged “into the abyss of civil wars and ethnic conflicts.”
Belarusians “felt it for themselves”, near the borders of the republic there is “a constant build-up of military potential,” Lukashenko stressed.
“Poland and the Baltic countries have become training grounds for regular exercises and training of troops NATO . We are threatened not only with the introduction of new economic sanctions, a real information war has been unleashed against us, political provocations are constantly being arranged, “the president said.
In Belarus, mass protests have continued since August due to the official results of the presidential elections, according to which Lukashenko, who ran for a sixth term, received 80 percent of the vote. He himself has repeatedly argued that the West is behind what is happening.
