Russian child cut off from family due to pandemic returned home

A Russian child who was cut off from his family was brought from Turkmenistan to Moscow. This was reported on her page in Facebook by the President’s Commissioner for Children’s Rights Anna Kuznetsova .

According to her, because of the pandemic, the boy was far from his parents, and after the death of his grandmother, he was left alone in a foreign country. He was returned to his homeland thanks to the active work of Russian Foreign Ministry .

“One call to a good person led me to another good person, and as a result, the child was included in the lists that were already closed, negotiations were held with another state to take the child out, a lot of issues were resolved in a matter of days, and the boy is now at home with my parents! ” – wrote Kuznetsova.

The Ombudsman thanked everyone who helped her in this matter. According to Kuznetsova, this year, people who want to help children have turned to her especially often.

“It was sometimes fateful, important, decisive and always inspiring! May there be a place in everyone’s life for helping others and everyone who needs support find it in time!” – she added.
