From December 16 to December 19, 2020, representatives of the Gonets Satellite System (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation) took part in the specialized conference “Municipal Economy – Development under Constraints” held in Sochi.
The event was organized in order to present products and services of public sector enterprises to the city economy and brought together representatives of various municipalities as a target audience, incl. from the Krasnodar Territory, Crimea, Irkutsk Region and the Republic of Abkhazia. In addition to the in-person presence, many participated in the conference online.
Representatives of the Gonets satellite system presented at the conference products and services based on the Gonets system, including terminals for monitoring special equipment and tracking. The presented solutions were noted by the participants as promising, incl. for organizing data transmission channels in remote settlements.
Many conference participants noted the demand for satellite communication and monitoring solutions for municipalities, some of which are located in places where terrestrial communications are limited or inaccessible.
