Seven coronavirus symptoms requiring special attention

Scientists from King’s College London have named seven symptoms of coronavirus, which are worth paying special attention to. The Daily Express reports.

Experts said that, in addition to the three “classic” symptoms of the virus, such as fever, cough, loss of taste and smell, there are several more signs of the disease. They advised paying special attention to headaches, weakness, loss of appetite, muscle pain, diarrhea, confusion and skin rashes. At the same time, experts noted that doctors did not record “classical” signs of the disease in every fifth patient. They stressed that if any of these symptoms appear, self-isolate and get tested as soon as possible.

Earlier, doctors in the USA discovered a new rare but dangerous symptom of the coronavirus, which was observed in several patients with COVID-19 in New York. According to the BGR portal, in two months, doctors in New York recorded three cases when patients infected with coronavirus developed a symptom such as keratitis – inflammation of the cornea. Later, the infection in all three spread to the inner membranes of the eyeball, causing endophthalmitis.
