Hotels in the Moscow region will only accept guests with a negative test for coronavirus. The corresponding decree of the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov published on the regional portal government.
According to the document, if the test is made by the PCR method, then it must be received by the hotel visitor no earlier than three days before check-in, if by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) – five days. In addition, thermometry using non-contact body temperature measurement devices will be organized in all hotels: when placed in rooms, during the day on the territory of the enterprise and at the entrance to the building.
Restrictions will apply from December 28 to January 15, 2021. In addition, from December 31, for corporate events in restaurants and bars of the Moscow region, it will be necessary to provide negative coronavirus tests for all event participants.
Earlier in Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region stated that they do not plan to tighten restrictions in shopping centers and stores during the New Year holidays, as this is not necessary .
On December 11, Governor Andrei Vorobyov, by his decree, extended the restrictions in the region. Until January 12, 2021, a self-isolation regime will be in effect for citizens with chronic diseases and those over 65. Students of regional universities and colleges will continue to study remotely, preferential transport cards are still blocked.
