Scientists have named a way to make up for the lack of the hormone of happiness on New Year’s holidays. Biotechnologists told about this edition Izvestia .

According to experts, food can become one of the levers of influence on mood. They advise including protein foods that are rich in tryptophan, an amino acid that is a precursor to the happiness hormone serotonin. This substance is abundant in cheese, fish and some types of nuts. It is noted that in order to maintain a balance, protein foods should be consumed with vegetables, except for potatoes and beets. In addition, experts note that at the festive table it is necessary to avoid “heavy” dishes, excessive portions and alcohol.

Formerly a Russian nutritionist, Doctor of Medicine Alexey Kovalkov revealed to Russians a way to lose weight quickly and correctly by the New Year. According to the expert, when losing weight, attention should be paid not to calories, but to the composition of the products. “If there is little fat in a product, this does not mean that it is healthy,” the nutritionist stressed. “Not only does it all depend on fats. A person never gets fat from fats, nor does he turn green from greens.”
