Workers in Brussels, Belgium discovered two gold bars while working in a collector, reports the New York Post.
On Tuesday morning, December 22, a team of workers was clearing out a clogged sewer. During the work, they found two gold bars.
The workers reported the find to the police. The police are investigating whether the gold could have ended up in the sewers in a criminal way. If within six months the employees of law enforcement agencies fail to establish the owner of the precious metal, those who have found the gold will receive a share from the cost of bars.
The cost of the bars is about 100 thousand euros (9 million rubles).
