A girl from the US city of Woodland, California, fought back a burglar who tried to break into her house. The website of the TV channel WNCT 9 reports.
On Friday, December 18, 12-year-old Nyletta Lincoln was at home alone. She heard a noise and thought that someone was knocking on the door.
“I was wearing headphones and heard loud sounds. When I took them off, I realized that someone was really trying to break into the house,” she said.
Lincoln grabbed a baseball bat and went to the front door. She saw that the lock was broken and a stranger was trying to enter the house. For a second, the perpetrator stopped and said, “Let me in.”
