Duce’s granddaughter left politics

The granddaughter of the Italian dictator Benito Mussolini Alessandra announced the end of her political career. On Wednesday, December 23, the Roman newspaper Il Tempo reports.

She admitted that participation in a popular TV program prompted her to the decision to leave politics. “Dancing with the Stars was a fantastic experience. I had never danced before, and I had never taken a dance course. It was also an extreme experience in its own way, because I had to learn choreography from a professional. However, it allowed me to learn many aspects of myself. which I had no idea about and which, apparently, were hidden, “Mussolini said.

When asked about nostalgia for a political career, the granddaughter of Duce replied that “we must always be ready for something new and never regret anything, because it is completely useless.” Mussolini stressed that politics was very important to her.

Alessandra Mussolini is a far-right politician, a member of the Italian and European parliaments, and the founder of a neo-fascist party. She fought for about a year to ensure that her three children were allowed to bear the name of Mussolini. The politician has repeatedly stated that she is proud of her famous relative, but argued that in this case she defended not so much the honor of her grandfather as her rights as women.

Her father, Romano Mussolini, the third son of the Italian dictator, passed away in 2006.
