In the US state of Florida, a spaniel rescued from the teeth of an alligator was appointed deputy sheriff, reports Officer.com.
In October, a four-month-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Gunnar survived a reptile attack. “The alligator encounter makes it extremely suitable for being a security officer teaching children what to do and what not,” said Florida County Sheriff Lee Carmine Marceno.
