Disappeared man was searched for 40 days and found sleeping in a cave

In Taiwan, a missing man was rescued from a cave under an abandoned power plant. He was wanted for 40 days, AsiaOne reports.

The disappearance of the man became known on November 16. He was last seen riding a scooter in the mountains near the Taiwanese city of Taichung. He then allegedly jumped into a crevice 100 meters deep.

On December 15, a hunter turned to the police and found a sleeping man in a cave. The police found him and took him to the hospital. It is noted that he is weak, but his condition is stable. How he managed to survive, and what he ate all this time, remains unknown.

In 2018 it was reported that a tourist from the American state of Ohio went to hike to volcano St. Helens and get lost. For six days, he ate wild berries. In addition, the man killed and ate the bees that pestered him.
