In the English county of East Yorkshire, 30-year-old Simon Holder, who celebrated his birthday, died because of an unsuccessful joke of friends, reports Daily Star .
According to the newspaper, the Englishman decided to celebrate his 30th birthday by taking a boat ride with friends. At some point, they decided to play the birthday boy and suddenly pushed him into the water. He was able to swim up, but when he began to climb back onto the boat, he caught on the propeller.
The man was pulled out of the water only after the propeller was stopped. He was promptly hospitalized with numerous lacerations on his leg. At the hospital, doctors carried out all the necessary actions, but they did not manage to save the Englishman. He died from the loss of a large amount of blood.
Law enforcement completed their investigation, having clarified all the circumstances of the incident. As a result, the department concluded that the young man died in an accident.
