The headache of a 20-year-old resident of the English city of Werksop turned out to be a symptom of a deadly disease. The Nottingham Post reported.
James King (James King) consulted a doctor with complaints of headache. The doctor prescribed migraine pills for him, but the medicine did not help. “A month before I had the worst migraine, I was constantly nauseous,” he says.
On the advice of his girlfriend, Millie King decided to test his eyesight. Oculists redirected the young man to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with glioblastoma – the most aggressive form of brain tumor.
On August 27, the Briton was operated on. The treatment was successful, but later King suffered an intracerebral hemorrhage that paralyzed his right side of the body. The doctors were forced to perform another operation. Over time, the sensitivity and mobility of the right side of the body returned. The young man was prescribed a course of chemotherapy and radiation therapy and was temporarily banned from driving.
“I really love to drive. Now I have to depend on other people to get to the right places. I hate that,” he says. “I’ve never depended on anyone, I’m very independent.” >
King is convinced that he will be able to overcome this difficult period, recover and continue to live as before. His 18-year-old beloved Millie supports him in every possible way and tries to remain optimistic. Treatment continues.
Earlier it was reported that a resident of the English city of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire , for ten years mistook the symptoms of brain cancer for chronic fatigue. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2015 when she was rushed to hospital due to poor health.
