The birth was reported to have gone well despite the girl’s risks due to her age. According to local media outlets, the baby’s father, a 17-year-old teenager, recently lived in the girl’s family house and attended the birth. However, this information has not been officially confirmed.
The names of the girl and her family are kept secret. The police are currently investigating whether she was forced to have sex and whether it was a 17-year-old teenager or another man. It is noted that the girl became pregnant at the beginning of the March lockdown. When the quarantine was lifted, the Spanish woman continued to go to school, making academic progress, while no one noticed her pregnancy.
The parents of the schoolgirl said they would give the newborn up for adoption.
