103-year-old veteran calls love for beer secret of longevity

American long-liver, WWII veteran Andrew Slavonic, who celebrated his 103rd birthday in December, continues to drink beer every day. Fox News reports.

His son Bob Slavonic, in honor of his father’s anniversary, gathered other veterans, local police officers, firefighters and doctors who greeted the centenarian and saluted him.

“At 103, he still drinks his daily Coors Light,” says Bob. “I think that’s the reason he lived so much.” Earlier, the long-liver himself came to a similar conclusion: in 2018, he explained his longevity with his love for beer.

Two years ago Slavonik became famous with the story that during the last For 15 years, he drank a can of Coors Light every day at exactly four in the evening. After that, MillerCoors invited the centenarian on a tour of the brewery and donated a refrigerator filled to capacity with his favorite beer.
