A woman tattooed one of her newborn sons to quickly distinguish him from his brother. She shared her story on Reddit .
An unknown mother of two admitted that she had been trying to have a child for five years, but all her attempts were unsuccessful. Then, together with her husband, she decided to resort to artificial insemination, as a result of which twins Adam and Jack were born (the user noted that the names of the children have been changed).
Jack was born with a medical condition that requires him to inject once a week. The author of the post did not specify what exactly the boy was sick with, but stated that at a later age he could replace the injections with oral medications.
The heroine’s mother-in-law volunteered to carry out the procedure, but one day she mixed up the twins and injected her healthy grandson Adam. The woman immediately noticed the mistake and called the doctor, who provided timely assistance to the child.
After the incident, the mother of the twins decided to give Jack a medical tattoo. A spot the size of a freckle has developed on his ear, which should completely disappear within five years.
Yuzersha said that the information about the tattoo on the baby’s body shocked the mother of her husband. Then she asked the twins’ grandmother to distinguish Jack from Adam by the mark on the ear. The latter tried to find a sick grandson for 20 minutes, but eventually chose a healthy one again.
“The mother-in-law is still angry about the tattoo, but I can easily distinguish between my children and, if necessary, can help Jack without any difficulties,” concluded the mother of the twins.
