Bride began to be haunted by ghosts because of a dress from an abandoned city

The American woman complained about the unexplained events she faced when she found a wedding dress in an abandoned ghost town. Seven News writes about it.

The woman laid out the story of her dress on Facebook. She said that during a hike through Washington state, she and her fiance wandered into an abandoned Gold Rush town. The dress lay in the ruins of one of the cottages. “To be honest, it scared me,” she admits. “And at the same time there was something in his ethereal beauty that begged me to take him with me.”

The American woman could not resist and brought the dress home. The problems started after about a week. At first, her cat stopped sitting on the windowsill, as usual, and hid under the bed all day. “Things began to move around the house,” the woman says. “At first, little things like a sock or a closet door, which turned out to be open in the morning, although I remember exactly what I closed in the evening. … At night she was haunted by the smell of rotten eggs and burning, and flies swarmed at the windows and doors.

This continued until her future mother-in-law took the dress to clean and hem. “For the two months she had it, calm reigned in the house,” the woman says. But her fiance’s mother drew attention to the strange “energy” allegedly surrounding the dress from the ghost town. She did not clean it and advised him to abandon the idea of going down the aisle in it. The woman followed her advice and decided to sell the dress on the Internet for $ 600 (44 thousand rubles).

Facebook users were hostile to the ad. “This is not your dress,” someone wrote in the comments. “You should go back to that abandoned city and leave it there. That would be more correct.” “You will know how to steal wedding dresses from ghost towns,” commented another. “Burn it and throw the ashes into the river,” advised a third.

In April it was reported that an American bought the abandoned mining town of Cerro Gordo and quarantined there. He was in complete isolation for several months.
