Groom suddenly died a day after wedding

A Ugandan groom died a day after the wedding, according to Tuko.

On Saturday, December 5, 25-year-old Roy Watuulo and his fiancée Anita got married at the chapel of Uganda Christian University. The newlyweds graduated from this educational institution, and the groom’s father works there as the dean of one of the faculties, so the couple chose this very place for the wedding ceremony.

On Sunday, December 6th, Roy suddenly began to choke in a church service and passed out. He was taken to hospital where he died. The cause of his death was a detached blood clot in his left lung.

The deceased just recently returned from Israel, where he studied in the magistracy as an agronomist. He worked in his specialty in the city of Kapchorva.

Relatives and friends of the deceased speak of him as an intelligent, calm and modest person. Many admitted to journalists that they still cannot believe what happened.

Earlier it was reported that a terminally ill resident of the English city of Liverpool died of cancer breast a month after the wedding. During the wedding, the couple did not know about the terminal stage of the disease and made plans for the future.
