Pantone International Research Institute has announced two main colors of 2021. This is reported on the organization’s website.
These are Pantone 17-5104 Ultimate Gray and Pantone 13-0647 Illuminating orange. “These are two independent colors, the union of which creates an inspiring color pair that combines a sense of depth and thoughtfulness with the optimistic promise of a sunny day,” the institute said.
The main color of 2020 Pantone chose the shade 19-4052 Classic Blue or “classic blue”.
In 2019, became the shade 16-1546 Living Coral, or “live coral”. Later the Queen of Great Britain Elizabeth II came to Sunday service at the Church of Saints Peter and Paul in King’s Lynn in a suit of the main color of the year. She wore a long coat, dress and hat, all of the same coral fabric.
Pantone has been choosing a main color since 2000. In the middle of the 20th century, the company developed a standardized color matching system that uses digital display. Color samples are regularly issued in special catalogs.
