Dog led policeman to owner who crashed car and was lost in forest

The dog brought a policeman resting on a hunt to the owner, who was lost in a forest near the US city of Manchester, New Jersey, reports ABC 7.

The missing man’s daughter called the police at about 20:00 on November 27. She said that her father has not been in touch since 16:30. The police were unable to find the man and his car, and they also tried several times unsuccessfully to reach him on a mobile phone.

At about 5:45 am the next day, the American still answered the call and told law enforcement officers a> that he crashed his car in the forest and does not know where he is. Then the man said that with him there was a policeman who was on vacation that day and went to this forest to hunt.

Police Sergeant Charles Brooks was hunting and saw a dog on the path. He realized that the animal had run away from its owner and decided to follow the dog’s tracks to find its owner. Brooks found the missing man several hundred meters away. He informed his colleagues about the whereabouts of the American.

“This situation once again confirms the claim that the police officer remains a police officer around the clock. We are lucky that Brooks was in the right place at the right time, because if it were not for him, it is not known how this story would have ended,” said the chief of police Manchester’s Lisa Parker.

Previously it was reported that a Chihuahua dog in the American municipality of Oriental, state North Carolina, saved the life of the owner who had a heart attack. The dog ran away from him and after a while returned with a worker who called an ambulance.
