New flagship Xiaomi has been declassified

The new flagship Xiaomi smartphone will receive an improved display and faster charging, reports the Root MyGalaxy edition citing a post on the Chinese social network Weibo.

According to sources, the Chinese corporation has planned the release of two smartphones – Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro. Both devices will have a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 pixels on the narrow side and a refresh rate of 120 hertz. The devices will be based on a new generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, have eight gigabytes of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 gigabytes of built-in UFS 3.1 storage.

Declassified gadgets will differ from each other in terms of camera and battery. In particular, it is known about the camera of the base Mi 11 that it will receive at least two sensors with a resolution of 108 and 13 megapixels. The Mi 11 Pro camera will consist of four lenses – 48, 20, 12 and 12 megapixels. It is known that the Mi 11 will come with a 4780mAh battery and support for 50W fast charging. The top model will receive a 4500 milliampere-hour battery that supports fast charging with a capacity of 120 watts.

Also, the network has information about the likely cost of the flagships. The basic smartphone of the series will be estimated at about 4500 yuan, or about 51 thousand rubles. The cost of the top-end Mi 11 Pro will be no more than 5,500 yuan, or about 63 thousand rubles.

The flagship series is expected to be announced in January 2021. The journalists clarified that some specifications of smartphones may be changed.

Earlier, the head of Xiaomi announced that the Mi 11 smartphone will be the first on the market to receive the new Snapdragon 888 chip. The processor, presented in early December, has a third-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 5G modem, supports mmWave and sub-6 5G networks and displays up to 144 Hz.
